Do EA's really work?

general-discussion

I have tested 100's of EA's and none were profitable. Anyone else made profit that was worthwhile? Been trying for a good couple of years and all were a disappointment. They either wiped out my accounts gradually or made a couple of dollars a month which wasnt worth my time.

The problem is that, Most of EA Traders want to trade the Forex Market 24/5 or 24/7 which is unrealistic. Just because you can trade the market any time of the day or night doesn't necessarily mean that you should. The best time to trade with EAs is when the market is calm with low or medium forex traders opening and closing positions, which creates a low/medium volume of trades. Also, have the minimum profit target possible and have the system that creates it consistently with less drawdown.

I usually trade with my EAs on 3am to 4am (GMT+3) and 9am to 10am (GMT+3) and I'm not missing around $20 to $30+ with less drawdown - making a total of $100+ a week.

To know my EAs that I use together with their set files just email me: cuthchris@gmail.com with the Subject "Recommended EAs + Set Files"

In my opinion, good EA's work only with big deposits, as there is a time to recover, but for small deposits, I guess, most fail due quick drawdowns.
