A 9/21 EMA crossover bot for XAUUSD (Gold) is an automated trading script or Expert Advisor (EA) designed to execute trades when the short-term 9-period Exponential Moving Average (EMA) crosses the longer-term 21-period EMA. Because Gold is a highly volatile, trending asset, this trend-following strategy is incredibly popular among algorithmic traders. 

• Timeframes: The 9/21 EMA strategy yields the fewer false signals on the 15-minute (M15), 30-minute (M30), or 1-hour (H1) charts. Avoid the 1-minute chart due to market noise.
• Trend Filter: Only take Buy signals if the price is above the 200 EMA, and only take Sell signals if the price is below the 200 EMA. This prevents the bot from trading against the dominant daily trend.
• Risk Management: It employs dynamic risk filters, establishing a Stop Loss (SL) at 1.5×ATR and a Take Profit (TP) at 2×ATR to adjust for Gold's sudden volatility shifts.
