Looking for help building a Forex strategy — where do I start?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking to build a solid Forex trading strategy and could use some guidance from experienced traders here.

I'm still working out the details — things like which pair to focus on, what timeframe suits my schedule, and what kind of indicators or rules to base entries and exits on.

A few questions I have:
- What's a good starting framework for building a strategy from scratch?
- Should I focus on one pair first, or is it okay to test across multiple?
- How do you backtest and validate a strategy before going live?

Any advice, resources, or examples from your own experience would be hugely appreciated. I want to learn the right way rather than jumping in blind.
