My First Month Trading Forex
Hey everyone! I'm new to the forex trading world and just completed my first month of learning and demo trading. I wanted to share my experience so far and connect with other traders here.
I started with absolutely zero knowledge about forex - didn't even know what a pip was! I've been spending every spare moment watching YouTube tutorials, reading articles, and practicing on a demo account. It's been overwhelming but exciting at the same time.
My biggest lessons so far:
Risk management is EVERYTHING. I blew up my first demo account in two days by overleveraging. Learned that lesson the hard way!
Patience is crucial. My early trades were all based on impulse and emotions. Now I'm trying to wait for proper setups.
There's so much conflicting information out there. Every "guru" has a different strategy, and it's hard to know who to trust as a beginner.
My current goal: I'm actively participating in this community to earn coins and build up some capital so I can eventually try an EA (Expert Advisor). I know I have a LOT to learn before risking real money, but I'm committed to this journey.
Would love to connect with other beginners or anyone willing to share advice! What were your biggest early mistakes, and how did you overcome them?
Thanks for having me in this community!
